More information

"PDC Manager 2.1" software Determination of continuous and localised pressure losses. The PDC Manager 2.1 software allows the irrigation system designer to accurately assess the pressure losses in a certain hydraulic circuit in order to dimension the ducts, the equipment and the pressurization system. PDC Manager 2.1 includes a database containing the specific technical data for the following product categories: - PE pipe. - PVC pipe. - Lay Flat pipe. - Electrovalves. - Screen filters. - Disc filters. - Hydrocyclone filters. - Sand filters. - Sprayheads. - Rotors. - Valves. - Fittings. PDC Manager 2.1 calculates the following: Pipes - Pressure loss for linear paths. - Pressure losses for symmetrical, asymmetrical, complex circular paths. - Fluid flow rate. - Type of flow. - Effect of differences in height. - Effect of multiple outputs. - Compatibility between the maximum nominal pressure of the device and the pressure in the duct. - Residual pressure. Electrovalves and filters - Localised pressure loss obtained from interpolation of the experimental data read at the various flow rates and the declared flow rate. - Compatibility between the maximum nominal pressure of the device and the specific pressure of the device. - Compatibility between the declared input pressure and the specific minimum and maximum pressure of the device. - Compatibility between the declared input flow rate and the specific minimum and maximum flow rate of the device. - Voluntary pressure losses (pressure reduction). - Residual pressure. Valves and Fittings - Localised pressure losses obtained by means of specific coefficients. - Pressure loss variations based on the flow direction with respect to the device. The program includes three formulas to determine the pressure losses, and it automatically uses the one which returns the most accurate value in relation to the Reynolds number. The hydraulic analysis data can be saved as files and presented in graphic form and as reports. This 64 bit version can be installed on Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System.

More information

"IRRLOC 2.1" software Hydraulic analysis of drip lines Designing localized irrigation systems using drip lines requires sophisticated and specific analysis instruments, as the hydraulics of these pipes is extremely complex, especially if the drip lines or their feed manifolds are on a slope. The "IRRLOC 2.1" software allows quickly and easily assessing the result of the various design choices. IRRLOC 2.1 includes a database containing the specific technical data for the following product categories: - Aqua-TraXX. - Aqua-TraXX PC . - Drip In Classic. - Drip In PC. Once you have defined the category, you will need to indicate: - The pipe diameter. - The individual dripper flow rate. - The dripper spacing. - The length of the drip line. - The input pressure. - The differences in height on the line. - The manifold position. - The manifold diameter. - The secondary manifold. - The differences in height on the manifold. - The distance of the side lines on the manifold. The application returns the following results: - Flow in the drip lateral. - Mean flow rate in the drip lateral. - Emission Uniformity of delivery in the drip lateral (EUL). - Minimum drip lateral pressure. - Graph of the pressure trend in the drip lateral. - Graph of the flow trend in the drip lateral. - Graph of the flow rate trend in the drip lateral. - Flow in the manifold. - Uniformity of delivery in the irrigation block (EUB). - Irrigation block area. - Flow rate per hectare. - Precipitation rate (mm/h). - Graph of the pressure and flow rate trend in the manifold. - "Color" graph with indication of the delivery (10 classes) and identification of the percentage surface area for each class. Using "Irrloc 2.1" you can hence calculate the maximum length of the specific drip line (with EU 85 and 90%) and correctly dimension the manifold so that the irrigation block will have high water distribution uniformity. This 64 bit version can be installed on Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System.
